North Watch: Guard house

A large, two storied building is placed at the high northern part of the village. It is not tall, but quite large. The big courtyard in back of the building is large enough to allow many training sessions at once. There is also another inside-training room and on the second floor there are rooms for the guards to sleep and places for them to put their gear.

The guards wear a full chain mail, little rings of steel going in and out of each other, resembling chains, that cover their whole upper body, excluding the head. On top of this chain mail, there is a plate breast guard. On their feet and legs, simply more plate, yet this plate is thinner and has many places where it allows bending for knees and such. The arms are covered in the same thing. Chain mail gloves are included in the Guard's uniform. Their heads are covered by a quite simple plate helm, with slots from an eye to the other, and in the middle of the eyes, there is a slot heading down, to uncover the nose and mouth.

On the breastplate, the sign of the North Watch guards appear, a red lion, facing towards the right, it's paws up and mouth roaring. On the left shoulder, there is a ribbon going around the arm. The color of this ribbon determines the rank of the guardsman.

Teal - Recruit,
Blue - Guard,
Red - Lieutenant,
Black - Captain,
Silver - Major,
Gold - General.

To go up in ranks, you must enlist then perform various missions and impress the High General, owner of the barracks.

To enlist, you must have a sword, axe, or other weapons(Ask at the enlisting counter if the item you would want as a weapon is allowed, if they are not listed by me). The weapon is not included in given gear, therefore you must go to the smithy and make one for yourself. This will prove your determination. You must also be fit, in shape, to join the Guards men. If you have everything needed, simply go to the enlisting counter and ask to join. They will see you to your room and given gear.

He dismounted his horse, entering the guard house. Saluting anyone he walked past by, giving the normal hello. He walked into the mess hall, sitting down on the bench. Grabbing what food he can find.

Entering the Guard house after a short pause for booze, he saw his Lieutenant's horse out front. Sighing, he sent it to the stables.

"He'll never learn."

Once he saw it go inside, he continued his slow trek to the Guard house, saluted everyone he knew, and headed for the training room.

He needed to hit something.
